Reservations and Cancellations
To assure accommodations, reservations must be made in advance and are confirmed upon receipt of 1/3 total amount due. The deposit must be received within ten days of making your reservation. The balance of the plan package is required at least 90 days prior to your arrival and before May 1. Up until February 1, reservations may be cancelled by either party and your deposit will be refunded in full. You may pay with your credit card, to assure immediate confirmation. After February 1, all deposits paid are non-refundable; travel insurance is suggested to provide a refund on covered claims, such as illness, travel interruption or natural disasters. In the event of a cancellation after February 1, we will hold your reservation for 1 year for you to utilize.
Payments
You may charge all extra ranch activities to your room for payment at the end of your visit if you wish. Local telephone calls are free. All long distance calls are made with your credit card - no surcharge. At the end of your stay, payment may be made by personal check, travelers check, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover for any unpaid charges.
Gratuities
We feel that gratuities are a private matter between you and those you wish to reward for great service. You may hand deliver gratuities to individuals or may choose to leave a group tip with the General Manager who can disperse it for you. We recommended a gratuity between 7% and 10% of your total stay.

Rates and Travel Tips
Children:
Children of any age are welcome at Wit’s End Guest Ranch and Resort. We offer a full Children’s Activity Program from June through August for children 3 years of age or older. Counselors are well trained and extremely qualified to handle even the youngest vacationers. The program is designed to give the young ones in your family a chance to explore and be adventurous. This will give Mom and Dad the opportunity to enjoy their own adult activities at the ranch. There is only one evening children are asked to not be in the Old Lodge for dining. This particular evening the kids enjoy a cook-out with their friends around the Teepees. Inside the Old Lodge adult guests are enjoying a five to seven course meal in a quiet romantic atmosphere. If your children need to attend Fine Dining we just ask that you be considerate of the other guests that evening. Sample activities: horseback riding and pony rides, gold panning, swimming, nature hikes, outdoor crafts, water sports, fishing, campouts and scavenger hunts. Your children will remember their horse and this family vacation for the rest of their life!
Internet Accessibility:
Wireless Internet access is available in the Main Office and Spa as well as The Old Lodge at the Lake. A Desktop computer with hi-speed access is available for Guest use on the second floor of The Old Lodge at the Lake. It is not recommend to use the phone lines in the cabins for Internet access as it will be a dial-up connection and outside phone a lines are limited.
