We understand that most of our guests are usually leaving for and activity or just returning from one so please feel free to come as you are.

Only one night a week we ask that you dress for the occasion. For men collard shirts and nice long pants are appropriate. Ladies are welcome to wear elegant casual clothing.

- Short sleeved shirts
- Jeans
- Shorts
- Swimsuit and Pool Shoes
- Tennis Shoes
- Light Weight Coat

If any necessities are forgotten at home there are two general stores that should have what you need
Children:
Children of any age are welcome at Wit’s End Guest Ranch and Resort. We offer a full Children’s Activity Program from June 15 through August 23 for children 3 years of age or older. Counselors are well trained and extremely qualified to handle even the youngest vacationers. The program is designed to give the young ones in your family a chance to explore and be adventurous. This will give Mom and Dad the opportunity to enjoy their own adult activities at the ranch. There is only one evening children are asked to not be in the Old Lodge for dining. This particular evening the kids enjoy a cook-out with their friends around the Teepees. Inside the Old Lodge adult guests are enjoying a five to seven course meal in a quiet romantic atmosphere. If your children need to attend Fine Dining we just ask that you be considerate of the other guests that evening. Sample activities: horseback riding and pony rides, gold panning, swimming, nature hikes, outdoor crafts, water sports, fishing, campouts and scavenger hunts. Your children will remember their horse and this family vacation for the rest of their life!
Water:
We maintain our own water purification system to ensure that the water in all cabins and resort facilities is perfectly safe for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
We also have some of the best drinking water in the country that comes straight out of the mountain side. People come from all over to bottle this water and the Ute Indians consider it to be sacred.

Wireless Internet access is available in the Main Office and Spa as well as The Old Lodge at the Lake. A Desktop computer with hi-speed access is available for Guest use on the second floor of The Old Lodge at the Lake. It is not recommend to use the phone lines in the cabins for Internet access as it will be a dial-up connection and outside phone a lines are limited.
